Le Bijou 1922 was the second line of cigars blended under the My Father label by Don Pepin Garcia in memory of his father, who was born in 1922.
In terms of taste, these cigars start out a little reserved, before the famous “pepper” spice à la Pepin sets in at the beginning of the second third. Wrapped in earthy basic tones and becoming slightly sweeter as the smoke progresses, these cigars are convincing across the board. Towards the end, the sweetness fades somewhat, but you can still tell that the tobaccos have been grown and processed with care and a lot of experience.
This is also evident from the almost snow-white ash and the perfect burn.
